- Open the Gmail app
- Tap the circle icon in the top right hand corner
- Tap on Add another account
- Select the type as Other
- Type in your email address
- Tap on Manual setup
- Under ‘What type of account is this?’ select Personal (IMAP)
- Type in your password
- Tap Next
- Under ‘Incoming server settings’ set the ‘Server’ as mx1.sitehost.co.nz and ensure no empty spaces or lines are copied across
- Tap Next
- Under ‘Outgoing server settings’ set the ‘SMTP Server’ as mx1.sitehost.co.nz and ensure no empty spaces or lines are copied across
- Ensure ‘Require sign-in’ is selected, and ensure your username and password are entered in
- Tap Next
- Select your sync options and then tap Next
- Enter the name for the account and tap Next.
- Open the Gmail app, switch to the account and send yourself a test email to be sure that the emails reach your inbox.
