Setting up iOS / iPhone / iPad

  1. Navigate to the Settings app.
  2. Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Under Accounts tap on Add Account.
  4. Tap on Other.
  5. Tap on Add Mail Account.
  6. Enter your details and tap on Next.
  7. Ensure the IMAP tab up the top is selected.
  8. Under Incoming mail server enter imap.webhost.co.nz as the Host Name.
  9. Under Incoming mail server enter your full email address as the Username. Enter your password.
  10. Under Outgoing mail server enter smtp.webhost.co.nz as the Host Name.
  11. Under Outgoing mail server enter your full email address as the Username. Enter your password.
  12. Tap Next.
  13. Ensure the Mail box is green, then tap on Save.
  14. You should see the list of email accounts on your device. If not, navigate back the Settings app and tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Tap on the newly created account.
  15. Tap on Account or the email address.
  16. Scroll to the bottom and tap on Advanced.
  17. There will be a list of folders under Mailbox behaviours. Tap on Sent mailbox.
  18. To ensure sent messages are stored in the correct folder, select Sent, which will be in the list under On the server.
  19. Tap on Advanced to go back, and repeat this process for:
    • Drafts Mailbox (select Drafts which is under On the server)
    • Deleted Mailbox (select Trash which is under On the server)
